Our approach is to run well diversified, equity orientated portfolios based on individual asset allocation models. We further manage risk for our "Defensive" investors by blending the use of passive and active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) with individual stock selections screened through our index-ranking system and valuation models.
For our "Enterprising" investors who seek above market average returns we run concentrated and leveraged trading portfolios on a performance basis.
We manage FTSE RAFI portfolios for institutions, as a licensee of the FTSE Company. Index tracking has evolved; FTSE RAFI indexation has significant over performance characteristics whilst retaining indexation advantages: low costs, low turnover, total diversification and transparency. Index constituents are determined by economic footprint, as measured by sales, cash flow, net book value and gross dividends paid, whereas a market capitalisation weighted index typically overweights the overvalued and underweights the undervalued companies.
