We then work on the strategic asset allocation decisions, using an efficient frontier model and in consultation with a leading independent economics consultancy. All investment decisions are determined centrally, and your manager, dedicated to serving you directly, is well supported.
If you are a defensive investor your main preoccupation is avoiding serious losses and mistakes. This leads naturally to diversifying heavily, reducing the costs and working with people you can trust to ensure the job is done professionally, without constant recourse to you. Investors today are able to diversify across both global markets and asset classes with high levels of accuracy and low cost using Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's). These instruments are highly liquid and transparent in both charging and price reporting.
As an "Enterprising" investor the process of discussing your approach helps to establish the concentration and risk levels you are willing to accept to achieve high returns. This is intensive work which incorporates our own stock selection research and market timing and trading from an experienced and award winning technical analysis team. For those with sufficient knowledge and/or experience we use derivatives to speculate and/or hedge.
